Nurse And Toddlers Taking Walk At Stenhouse Day Nursery 1955

About this memory

Miss Gaw with with nursery children.

"There were twelve babies from a few months to one-and-a-half years, then on to the toddler room where there were about twenty-four children, then on to the big class, which had children up to the age of three to five.

"The nursery was open from 8am - 6pm and all meals were served and even the oldest children had a nap in the afternoons." - Christine Bell [2008]
