Raymond using Kenny McLean’s (Beachcombers) drum kit at The International Club. It was common practice at the “Nash” to have several bands playing on the same night. To save some time we would simply use the previous band’s gear. On these occasions it was always great to spend time with the other bands catching up and checking out what numbers they were doing. We would often meet up with lots of the other bands after the gigs at The Metropole in Torphichen Place or The Bandura in Dalry Road and share tales of the nights events over pizza and bowls of pasta well into the early hours.
