About this memory

1966 -This picture was taken at The International Club, Princes Street by George Cox for an article in September’s edition of 242 Magazine written by Ernie Collinson.

242 Magazine was also called “Radio Scotland’s Showbeat Monthly” and was published monthly in 1966 and 1967 and featured articles on fashion, music, mainly Scottish local bands and events on the back of the pirate radio station Radio Scotland which broadcast on 242 medium wave from the ship The Comet anchored in The Forth. The article, although very positive about the band, included a great many factual errors but it felt good to be featured.
