About this memory

1966 – A selection of ads that appeared in The Edinburgh Evening News in the Summer of 1966 for the fondly remembered McGooS in the High Street showing the range of top rated artists that performed there.

The Kinks, The Small Faces, Wayne Fontana, Spencer Davis Group. The Who and many others that year.

They were ably supported by popular local Bands including The Moonrakers, Threes A Crowd and The Images.
