About this memory

1968 – When Sandy left in 1968, David took over Bass guitar and we went down to a three piece.

Robert Smith known as Smiggy who had formerly played with The Saracens, Three’s a Crowd and the Dexters joined on lead guitar. When Sandy left around 1967 David took over on bass guitar and the band became a three piece playing mainly in Glasgow at the Electric Garden in Glasgow in Sauchiehall St.

Smiggy went on to join Writing on the Wall in 1968 then on to the Glasgow band The Pathfinders, and finally Blue with Hughie Nicholson. He went on to run a recording studio in the USA where he is resident and is still playing in several bands.
