1968 – On the Shute from the top are some local kids then Smiggy, Mick Connefrey, George Nicol, David Valentine, Sandy Lax (lying flat). This was the line up of THE HIPPLE PEOPLE circa 1968 fooling around after rehearsal at a youth club near Sleigh Drive. Smiggy (Robert Smith) had come into the band on guitar and George Nicol had come in on drums.
