2012 – We had at this point put on a couple of very successful shows at The Shrubhill Masonic with the help of friends that we had known since the scene in the sixties and actually played in that era. We decided to adapt the name of the shows to THE HIPPLE PEOPLE and Friends with the interesting point that all the performers had played in Edinburgh bands in that era. We then decided to put on a Xmas Show and galvanized everyone to get ready for the big event. The Xmas event has become so popular in recent years we have needed to put on 2 shows to meet demand.
