153 – Early in 2015 David had conceived the idea of a collection of Xmas Songs performed by the various bands and singers that had become regulars at our Sunday shows at Shrubhill. These would be arranged and recorded by David at his Heartbeat Studios at Goudie Howes Farm, Middleton, Midlothian, and all proceeds would be donated to the Oesophageal Cancer Research Charity. Throughout the year he masterminded all the required tracks and it was ready for release in time for our Xmas Show.

The money raised was donated to the OCHRE Charity.

The Album included a gem in the form of the very original version of one of the most popular Xmas Songs of recent time, Merry Xmas Everyone. This song was written by David’s close friend and fellow musician Bobby Heatlie and made famous by “Shakin” Stevens and consistently makes the Xmas Charts every year.
