About this memory
of my good friend and also my lawyer of many years, Jamie Gilmore.
Originally Lauriston Place had 4 chairs but it was very cramped so I re-modelled to 2 chairs to give us more .
As from about 20 years ago, 2000 we changed our hours and started to open at 6.30 am in the morning and close at 13.30 pm. This suited a lot of people because of the change to Flexible Hours that lots of businesses had changed to although by closing at 13.30 pm some of our customers accused us, jokingly, of being part timers. Non stop between those hours with just 10 minutes for lunch, you do the maths !!
