About this memory
Customers coming in, were stopped by this sign, some were devastated by this news we were closing down on the 31st Oct.
Stories in the chair went like this – “I have been coming in here for 48 years and before that I was a regular at the West Port, Brougham Street and Lauriston Place”
Always the next line was “where am I going to go”
The only place we recommended was Kenny Taylor, the son of Kenny Taylor who was with Bob’s for 25 years. His shop is Esq Barbers, Bruntsfield.
