About this memory
1964 – featuring The Hipple People and a number of other Edinburgh Bands.
We had only been rehearsing for a couple of months when this competition occurred and we were up against some of the top bands in town and we did not do well, we made the Grand Final but came last.
Coincidentally one of the other bands was Fayne and The Cruisers who take part in our Sounds of The Sixties Shows.
