In 1971 David joined the remaining Moonrakers on bass guitar along with David Wilson’s girlfriend on vocals. They played regularly in the New Yorker Cafe Grill in Shandwick Place, Edinburgh playing cover versions of songs by Pentangle and Lindesfarne.
