“It was the only time that the trainee sailors on the James Arthur Ship were allowed onto “dry land”.

“Mount Zion Church as it was called was off a Christian denomination. It could seat 1,000 people and was the focal point of the village. The entire cost of this building was met by an anonymous donor”.
