Jean McCormack was the Walker brothers’ maternal aunt from Dunoon. She married William Inglis, the proprietor of the Dunoon Observer & Argyllshire Standard. Their daughter Marion Carmichael and her sons owned the newspaper up until 2015, ending 144 years of ownership by the Inglis Family.
