About this memory

At this time, to the right of the small van was where the putting green and tennis courts used to be. This part of Broomhouse Road had frequent flooding issues.
“Papa Gallo” was another of the Ice Cream men who frequented the estate along with “Ernies”, “Marandolas” and “Walls”.
Radio Rentals and DER were the major renters of TVs and other Electrical Appliances in the 1960s.
