About this memory

Example of a typical Classroom in the 1940s and1950s.
There was often more than 40 pupils in every class.
Every pupil had their own separate desk.
Occasionally there would be double desks where two pupils shared.
Where you sat was determined by exam results with the clever ones at the back.
