“[My] brother and [his] girlfriend – Arthur and Margaret. The moped was a Lambretta that constantly broke down in rainy weather. They were visiting a friend who lived at Roslin, who later became my sister-in-law many years later.
“The photo was sent to me as a reminder of how well he had [done] in way of transport. He always had something with wheels, from pedal car at Bristo Street, to rollerskates, racing bikes, motorcycle, and cars.” – Evelyn Muir
