About this memory

1956 – Left to right – Colin McKenzie and Drew Johnston of Well Court, and (me wearing my Sombrero).

We called it the Wooden Bridge (following previous generation’s) the reason being, because of the large pedestrian wooden planking — as you can see in the photo.

We had quite a few artists that came to the Village (and the “High Green” as depicted in the top left hand corner of the photo) over the summer, I used to like to watch them and sometimes they would give me paper to draw on.
