The wedding of Fred and Aida Tubb.

(L-R) – Jessie Tubb (mother), Fred Tubb (groom), Frederick Tubb (father), Aida, Sydney Tubb (brother), Jessie Tubb (sister).

Fred was interned as a conscientious objector during the First World War. Fred and Sydney fell out over their opposing views.

Fred and Aida emigrated to New Zealand.

Frederick Tubb (the father) was a housekeeper at 49 Watlin Street and had a big flat at the top of the building. He was originally a greetings card maker.
