Some years ago, I bought a 1911 Coronation Pin, presented to M. Smith, Provost of Leith, and was discussing donating it to the Edinburgh museum, but would like to offer it to the present Malcolm Smith, if he would like it to keep or donate to an institution of his choosing.
The Coronation of King Charles III inspired me to do something meaningful with the pin, especially as my birthday is 2 June, the Coronation Day of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
A picture of the pin and it’s inscription are available if you advise me how to upload them.
