About this memory

at his office desk in the Tannery Office.

Robin was the Accountant and Tom travelled the Borders mainly attending meetings with wool merchants.

On the wall are pictures of Thomas Smith Legget on the left & Robert Sommerville Legget on the right.

The Tannery Factory office telephone number was 22444.

The office windows overlooked a piece of wasteland which the Villagers called the “Auld Ducks”.
