I was wondering whereabouts was the shop. Someone has suggested that it may have been on Cadzow Place/London Road.
We have discovered what we think is an advert for this shop, which is part of Museums & Galleries Edinburgh’s stored collections. It advertises the shop at 23 Cadzow Place and the proprietor as A. Berger ‘Wholesale and Retail Fruit Merchants and Confectioners’ (perhaps brother or father of L. Berger) selling as ‘The Jaffa King’
