About this memory
1962 – I am pictured beside my sister Avril’s car which was a yellow Ford Anglia.
To the right hand side, is my stair, number 41 Dean Path where I lived.
The Main door house to the left of the stair was owned by the Payne Family. I used to babysit 6 days a week between 5-6 pm for Mr & Mrs Payne,
looking after their children Frank and Louise, to let Mrs Payne go to work, before her husband got home.
The Payne family emigrated to Australia and they offered me the house for £200 but at the time I couldn’t afford it.
