Here we are all gathered on our Sports Day held at the Dean Orphanage Playing Fields.

1956 – That’s me in the centre of the photo, second row with my white blouse and wearing the Dean School Tie.

You can see in the background the Spire of the Church of Scotland Presbytery which was on Belford Road.
