Arthur Jeffery and Patricia Phimister on their wedding day.
Arthur and Pat were married at 3pm In The Cairns Memorial Church on Gorgie Road. The wedding reception was held at the Kintore Rooms on Queen Street. (Kintore House was at the west end of Queen Street which at the time was owned by the Co-op).
“After all the formalities were over and the dancing started, Pat and myself changed into our rock ‘n’ roll outfits and gave our invited guests a demonstration of rock ‘n’ roll.” – Arthur Jeffery [2004]
