“This photo [shows] the colony houses where our customers lived. We served hundreds of people per week, we were highly recommended for our cooked boiled ham. My father taught at night school at Ramsay College about groceries and window dressing. He was champion grocer in the year 1936 and won many medals [from the Master Grocer Association].” – Mabel Linton
