Looking up a close from Cockburn Street, I was struck by the appearance of this old light fitting on the wall, with weeds growing around it. I like the contrast between the light fitting, the old stonework, and the greenery. One of the things I love about walking around Edinburgh, especially in the Old Town, is the unexpected views that are around just about every corner.
