Lansdowne House School was at Coltbridge Terrace, Murrayfield. It merged with St George’s School for Girls in 1976.

    The headmistress Miss Bennett was my auntie Margaret.
    As a child we had holidays with her and enjoyed the gardens in the school grounds.
