About this memory

Margaret Gray (second front row, second right) aged 9/10.

Charlie Miller (front row, middle, wearing glasses).

This is the same glass of children as in 0555-001 and 0555-002.

Margaret left school aged 14 and worked in the Post Office at various branches in Leith and Edinburgh. The work was 48 hours a week, 6 days a week.
