My Auntie and Granny with Dean Village Neighbours pictured in Dean Path.

1955
My Auntie and Granny with Dean Village Neighbours pictured in Dean Path.

About this memory

1955 – Left to right my Auntie Mammie Johnston of Well Court, Jean Beveridge of 33 Dean Path, my precious Granny Margaret Shaw whom I loved so much of 33 Dean Path, and Mrs Muir who lived in the Tenements above George Burn’s Grocer’s Shop in Dean Path.

My Granny went stone deaf at the age of 21. She died in 1957.

The photo was taken by my sister Avril with a Halina Box Camera that Dad bought her.
