About this memory

The Peder Bogen was a Leith registered ship operated by Christian Salvesen and Co for whaling expeditions in the Antarctic. It was requisitioned for the Royal Fleet Auxilary in 1939 and was torpedoed by a U-boat in the Atlantic in 1942.
