I was also at this camp with my favourite memories being a football match (my main sport) and a scratch rugby match. For the rugby I placed myself opposing Colin Telfer (future Scotland) and gave him my full attention. After the match Colin’s dad (who was in attendance) approached me curious that I wore RHS kit but he had not seen me playing rugby before. He asked which team i played for. “I don’t play rugby” was my glib reply. Funnily enough I did return to rugby on later occasions in my life.
