About this memory

“10 January 2017 – to Patrick McCole who found them.

The archive record’s consisted of my Mother’s Ann’s original birth certificate, my aunt Barbara and my uncle John’s original birth certificates. There was also 3 application orphanage 4 page admission form’s and 2 pages of historical information. This information detailed the long time (over 10 year’s) that my mother, aunt Barbara and uncle John spent at the Orphan Homes of Scotland.

The Orphanage, was located at the Bridge of Weir, Renfrewshire, which is still there to this day.

Patrick McCole sent all the above Orphanage Information to me by Special Post which I was required to the sign for, when I received the envelope on the 23rd January 2017. Yippee I am so delighted. I will treasure them.”
