Temporary travel document issued to Barbara Müllejans. The travel document was in place of a passport for travel outwith the militarized western zones of Germany then under allied control.
Barbara Müllejans met Willie Haswell, an RAF Regiment serviceman, while he was stationed in the north of Germany towards the end of the war. With this travel document she was able to travel to Britain – Barbara and Willie were married in Edinburgh later that same year.
