About this memory
2014 – attending our 3rd Dean Village Reunion.
Ian travelled thousands of miles all the way from South Africa to attend on that occasion and subsequently returned to attend the 5th Dean Village Reunion held in the Hilton Hotel, Grosvenor Street, Edinburgh in May 2016.
He lived in Dean Path in the same stair as me. Ian was a great neighbour.
He emigrated to South Africa with his lovely family in the early 1960s.
Ian was previously brought up with his family in West Mill Lane, opposite the Dean School in the Dean Village.
