Married Janet Erskine (3.4.1874) in Linlithgow.
James was a railway guard with the North British Railways (“NBR Guard” shown on coat lapels).
James and Janet lived at 41 Royal Park Terrace, and were the parents of the Grant girls (see 0128-027).
