About this memory

2018 – I don’t have any family buried there but I just felt a connection to the cemetery.

On the 8th August 2007 I went to a tribute to the memory of Dr Elsie Inglis (18th August 1964 – 24th November 1917) who is buried there. She was a very dedicated and courageous person.

I had my twins at the Elsie Inglis Hospital in Edinburgh just before it closed.

Quite often my sister Avril and Peter Jack from Dean Path would cut through the Dean Cemetery to catch the number 13 bus to Bellevue School.
