About this memory

1963 – number 44 Dean Path was located at the foot of the Broad Stairs (directly opposite) Legget’s Tannery in Damside, before it to was demolished in the early 1960s.

The Canteen was where the men had their lunch — in the left hand corner just beyond the Middle Double Doors .
