About this memory

1887 – My Great Great Grandfather was Deacon of the Incorporation of the Skinners for 49 years from 1841 to 1890.

He took up the Role as Deacon 5 years after the Family in 1836 arrived in the Water of Leith Village (now called the Dean Village).

He was also Deacon of the Incorporation of the Furriers for 22 years from 1846 to 1868.
