About this memory

2018 – I drove down to take photos of the Dean Cemetery and the Village.

Just by chance Margaret Lee who lived in my old stair 41 Dean Path had been walking through the Village and we bumped into each other on Remembrance Sunday 11th November 2018.

You can see Margaret and I are both wearing poppies as a respect to the War dead of two World Wars and for me in particular remembering my Grandfather Private John Shaw who was “Killed In Action” in 1918 aged just 22 years, during the First World War.
