In our Final Year the whole class went by train to North Berwick for a picnic.
Four girls and 4 boys danced a Highland Reel on the school platform. We rehearsed for weeks with Mrs Irvine. I still remember now, how to dance six sets of the Lancers.
My dress was made by Mrs Ridgway ( West Mill Lane, Dean Village ).
The Summer I left the Dean School we were rehoused away from the Dean Village.
