My students are learning to sail on their own.
Those Fridays away from school were their favourite. They were my favourite as well; looking at them accomplishing more than they had accomplished in eight months of lessons in a classroom.
Children need to spend time outside. To use their hands and to observe-that’s the only way they learn.
