Twillight of Arthur’s Seat
27th July 2018

About this memory
Arthur’s Seat was my first exploration when I arrived to Edinburgh last year. I was new to the city, new to Scotland, about to start a new episode in my life. I climbed the Seat in first week in November, it was cold and my fingers were trembling as I was trying to take first photographs of the city. As the Sun was just rising, the whole of Edinburgh became lit with somewhat golden, radiant light and I new that decision to move here was right. Since then I go to Arthur’s Seat whenever I feel a bit lost, it gives me space to connect and find my direction. This photograph was taken on the 27th July, when the City got covered in huge mist and we were lost above the cloud between the sunset and full moon that was to come that night.
