“The Boys Brigade played a special part in my brother’s life, a good outlook to take away [after] the rigours of life thrown upon us as children during and after the war. It was something for him to hold on to and developed his potential. He won numerous badges and merits for his input as he went from strength to strength mentally and physically. He stayed with the BB’s for a long time.” – Evelyn Muir (née Mobbs)
