This elderly couple were enjoying a beautiful moment of peace and quiet, sat on the grass on a sunny day in May at Harrison Park, Edinburgh. The gated area is a hidden gem in the city – a space where anyone passing by on the canal can take a moment to sit, on a bench or on the grass, and soak up the sun, surrounded by trees in the heart of Edinburgh. In spring, the benches are bordered by some spectacular pink blossoms, and there’s even a little community herb patch to enjoy.
