Young Woman Sitting In Leith Links With Her Two Pet Dogs 1937

Young Woman Sitting In Leith Links With Her Two Pet Dogs 1937

About this memory

Susan Young (later MacPherson, then Tulloch).

“Mum on Leith Links, lovely, she looks so elegant, she was a teacher. The date is 1937, the year she married my father. [The marriage] was in February, and [the photograph] looks like later in the year, he must have gone back to sea.

“The little Westie was called Gillie. [The other dog] Peter was greatly loved. Gillie was a snappy dog!” – Christine Muir (née Tulloch) [2021]
