Edinburgh Ghost Signs

Some photographs of Edinburgh Ghost signs, remnants of hand painted advertising signage past. Above doors or on walls, they were never meant to last forever.
Often revealed during refurbishment, you’ll sometimes catch them for a few days before new signage is added and it will be out of sight for another few years, or perhaps sadly, forever.
