Prestonfield House – now & then

Nestled away behind a 1930s housing development lies that amazing Prestonfield House. Rebuilt in the 1760s after the original monastery on the site was burnt down, it has been a family home and latterly a boutique hotel and restaurant. A true Edinburgh architectural gem.
