i went to Murrayburn in the 60’s and have fond memories of visits by the police to test and hand out certificates for cycling proficiency. All the pupils would be out at the back of the school to watch and there was a demonstration from the police in their patrol cars, i distinctly remember them driving fast around the school and skidding to a stop in front of all the pupils. Don’t think that would be allowed these days.
