Having given the flat the OK, my parents propose to send by road carrier some bits of their own surplus furniture, having converted the upstairs of their house into a self contained flat.
My next decision is whether to delay moving into the flat until a bedroom has been fitted or to save a bob or two by doing the waiting in a flat that has a WC but no bathroom.
